This Half Rubber Horse Rein is a high-quality leather rein with an inside layer of slim rubber pimple grip. The unique design gives good grip and security in the hand of the rider.

Note:

There is room on all Half Rubber reins to add an extra buckle hole giving an extra inch in maximum length.

Plain leather reins have extra room for adjustment in maximum length as they are not restricted by the rubber.

Please note, horse reins sizings are approximate but fairly accurate. If you are not sure, please contact us before ordering, via email, phone or social media.

We are happy to exchange unused horse rein sets if the size is not right for you or the pony.

 

Before use: Apply Suitable leather dressing to the leather with a brush or sponge and leave to dry naturally at room temperature.

Keep clean and moisturised, wipe off any build up of dirt and sweat then condition with leather balm or cream.

A pair of leather D Ring replacers are also available should your saddle not have a D ring.

Brilliant

I’m so, so pleased with these. We’ve been using them for nearly 3 months. I bought my 6 year old daughter’s loan, lead rein pony that she’d fallen in love with. She needed a first ridden really and while her pony was great on lead rein she had a nasty habit of head dropping when off lead. Thought I’d give these a go, expecting very little of them. They completely and immediately fixed the problem. My daughter is coming on leaps and bounds with her, doing weekly pony club training and they’re both doing so well. Highly recommended and worth every penny and more.

Balanced support reins

This is the 4 th pair we have bought over the years from tiny ponies and tiny children to bigger ponies and bigger children . Would recommend them to anyone . Especially if pony puts head down eats bucks . They are marvelous

So much confidence

These reins are fantastic, we use them with the loop handles. My now 6yr old has used them since she was 3yrs old and she has such a steady hand, she hacks out with me at all speeds and terrain and she has so much confidence in them.
